Odyssey - about us
From its inception Odyssey has been committed to providing services to adults with learning disabilities in small, unobtrusive homes or, integrated settings within the community and has always aimed to offer the highest possible standards of care and additional support.

In addition, during 2002, we launched “Odyssey Learning and Development Solutions for Today”, a training arm offering accredited training to other learning disability providers.

We are an approved City and Guilds Centre and offer the LDQ Induction Award 'Supporting People with Learning Disabilities' levels 2&3 to both internal and external candidates.

All care and support services provide individually designed packages of support aimed at maximising the independence of individuals, while managing the risks inherent in day to day living.

Central to this, is the acknowledgment that each Person we support has a unique set of strengths, needs, dreams and preferences. It is our job to identify these and work alongside the individuals to enable them to meet their aspirations.

Odyssey is now well established and has a growing profile within the local communities we serve. Odyssey is led by a Senior Management Team which is accountable to a voluntary Board of Management.
