Induction Award in Supporting People with a Learning Disability, levels 2 and 3.
Odyssey Care Solutions is a City & Guilds Approved Centre and we have been providing training since 1985 within the learning disabilities sector. We have been delivering the LDQ successfully (formerly LDAF) since 2001. - The LDQ replaces the LDAF Induction and Foundation Units. It links directly to the Common Induction Standards and the NVQ in Health and Social Care.
- It is mandatory that all employees supporting someone with a learning disability undertake and complete the LDQ Induction Award at levels 2 or 3.
- Odyssey’s LDQ training places an emphasis on person centered planning and approaches.
- The training is in line with ‘Valuing People 2001’ and the ‘Valuing People NOW - from Progress to Transformation’.
