Training
- There are three planned training sessions that have been designed to provide candidates with the knowledge they need to enable them to complete the requirements of their LDQ award. These training sessions will include: group discussions, group exercises and individual exercises that are facilitated in a high-energy, supportive environment that encourages candidates to continually reflect upon their current work practices;
- The sessions are also designed to enable candidates to draw upon their own knowledge and practice as well as providing guided learning through presentations, group exercises, PowerPoint, activities and DVD’s, all of which aim to promote maximum candidate participation. Workshops, (which include structured training sessions) will provide candidates with planned time away from their usual work setting so they can spend the session completing their workbooks.
- The training sessions are designed to give candidates the knowledge to equip them to achieve their awards as well as endorsing good practice and optimum learning methods in a cost effective way, all whilst spending a minimal time away from the people they support.
